My house is looking like a giant bin full of Christmas decor vomited all over it…LoL, but I am slowly getting some decor up and out and feeling grateful for the luxury of having two hands. {I had a crock pot accident the other day and have 10 stitches in my right hand, in case you were curious ;)} I did manage to put together, this little Santa Vignette, one and 1/4 handed, and it’s making me feel all festive and nostalgic…I hope it does the same for you!:)
I used only things I had, except for the dollar store candy canes. I left up the mirrors from my Autumn Vignette, oh and the little wood box too. I stuck pinecones atop my thrift store candle sticks, and was happy to finally display my garage sale scale…$2!! I love it.
I sat my little vintage Santa on the scale and added a little ‘letters to Santa” tube and my wintery mailbox. My little holly runner grounds it all and adds some more whimsy and color. Of course there has to be a wreath in there somewhere and I love how it pops off of my little cabinet. And for the pictures I had to use my cute new bag from Bag Full of Posies, because I love it and it fit in so nicely. I blogged all about it yesterday in case you missed it…also she is have an awesome giveaway right now, FYI. ;)
My candy canes are hanging from the lamp in sweet little gift cones. The BELIEVE sign was a gift from my MIL and sums up the overall theme of the vignette. We all need to believe in something and the sweet childlike feeling of Christmas is a great reminder.
I like how it all turned out…it’s simple but I hope gives of a feel of Christmas spirit and childhood magical wonder. Remember that feeling? I love seeing it through my girls and wish I could bottle it up!

And these great ones too…
Love it! I really like how the colors all work together. I also appreciate how you worked in something that is functional (the bag) into your designed space. Write now I've left my children's winter hats in places that remind us of the season and make the place feel festive, even though I haven't decorated much.
